Its a shambles. It really is a big problem and i think there will be many many families who have had their holidays ruined because of it, and probably some that wont ever return.
I mentioned the Legian Beach because this isnt the first time its happened, we had friends that were there in 2002 and the same thing happen to them, 3 families rolled up thinking the had accomodation only to be told sorry no room!! They actually ended up ok, they got put in the Hard Rock and loved it, but, their first response was NO WAY, we have booked to stay here !!
Like many of us on this forum, we love Bali and save hard to visit as often as we can, and one would think if you pay for that particular hotel that is where you would expect to stay. I know my friends had children with them from 6 to 26 and picked the LBH because it suited all their age groups.
