have been flying to Bali for last 25 years, ( 20 visits all up) and over that time more often than not flew Garuda from Melbourne. have never encountered a delay with Garuda however I don't know how many times I have heard people complain about late flights with Qantas over the years though. Doesn't worry me too much as Jetstar seem to run pretty well to time but I always liked the fact that Garuda arrive early afternoon whereas Jetstar direct from Melb arrive 11pm and if by chance they run late you get to your room around 1 - 2am.
