We paid about $90.00 to have it chipped here in Perth.
The games are about $1.10 in Bali. So what does it matter if some don't work, it will still work out good with the extra you pay for it to be chipped, and you will save money.
It's a bit like the DVD's. You can't be sure they will all be OK till your home.
We dragged our Wii with us to Bali last Dec to get a cheap chip. Ha Ha, joke and weight on us. They weren't chipping at that stage. Waste of space + effort.
