Hi, I have been looking at the hai tide huts on lembongan but they are very pricey! On searching the archives I read a few posts about people getting great deals while they were in Bali for the HT huts.
Just wondering how likely it is that I will be able to snag an ocean front HT hut at a good price while there? wishful thinking? I was thinking of leaving 2 nights unbooked toward the mid - end of our trip in May 09 in the hope of getting a good deal on 2 nights in the hai tide huts on lembongan when there. Do you think this is risky? We will be there in early May 2009, so not super high season, so hoping there might be some vacancies.
Also, wondering if anyone has any advice or tips about their stay on Lembongan. I love Bali but will admit that I have never swum in the ocean there because it didn't look very clean, lots of rubbish washed up etc. The beach in front of the hai tide huts looks pristine in the photos - is it really that pretty and clean? Dont want to spend a small fortune staying there only to find out it is not as nice as i had hoped.
Would really appreciate any help anyone can offer on how to get the best deal on accomodation at the Ht huts - many thanks :)
