We stayed there last December after visiting a year previously. We chose a garden-view unit, adjacent to the pool and only 50m to the beach (via the dining area). The unit was quite spacious but the lighting was very poor, with some fittings not working at all. Our complaints received no response and I reccomend taking a few 75/100w screwbase light bulbs with you - or you can buy them at the local superette.
Although breakfast was included we only ate there once out of our seven nights because the sand at the edge of the dining area was always heavily poluted with dog extreta. All the stray dogs seemed to be atracted there - maybe because they were not moved on - but the place stank of dog sh**. The same applied to the evening dinner time - although the menu was reasonable and the prices good, we always ate out at the many restaurants along the Jalan.
I would give Peneeda View 4 out of 10; to us it had the feeling that it was only half used and the owners were only half interested. We would not stay there again.
