We actually stayed here for our honeymoon in 2006. We had a fantastic room (deluxe) which was on the bottom floor, grass level overlooking ocean and pool. The rooms do need renovating (as most do in Bali...) but as we were not in the rooms for longer than what was required to sleep and shower etc we were not bothered. That said there was still nothing wrong with the rooms at all. They were roomy and the bathroom was fabulous with separate shower, a bathtub and separate toilet. The 2 pools were fantastic - lots of choice on where to sit - beachfront chairs were fantastic. The food was unreal and I still reckon we had our best breakfast's their out of all hotels we have stayed at. It may have got worse in the last 2 years, so can't comment on that but we loved the Nusa Dua. Just my own humble opinion... But like Rangatira said - ring your travel agent and explain the situation and/or seek reassurance..
