We had 2 deluxe rooms as they didn't appear to have family rooms as such with 2 separate single beds for our girls. (Rooms 229 and 230). The rooms were absolutely gorgeous and apparently had recently been renovated. They were both lovely and cool, very well maintained and serviced every day. Our housekeeper was a real friendly gentleman. Our room balconies overlooked the garden pool which is the one in the middle of the resort. We used it quite a bit when we were around, but our girls felt a bit uneasy with all the "oldies" around. They felt they couldn't giggle and laugh and generally have a good time in the pool in case they splashed someone. I agree that there were many Europeans staying there. Is this normal for this time of the year or is that all the time? Whilst my husband and I loved staying there and agree it would be lovely on our own, we probably wouldn't go back there if we were taking our teenagers. Overall the Griya was very nice, quiet and relaxing and everyone was very helpful and went out of their way to help us. Hope this helps.
