If you check out Jetstar they have recently added a DAILY service from Melbourne to Denpasar via Darwin. Not bad time wise either. I have only just checked availability and they could get a flight out on Friday 26 July departing 12.35 arriving 19.55 or Sunday 28 July for $337.00 plus Taxes and return Saturday 11 July departing 23.35 arriving back in Melbourne 10.45 Sunday 12 July for $337.00 plus taxes. There are still seats available now. If you go in to make a booking once you chooses the dates and go to the next step it will them give you TOTAL dollar value including Taxes before you have to make the payment. I don't think you will do any better than that but I'm sure it will book up pretty quickly as the Saturday has already been booked out. This is how I intend to book my trip for next September.
