- the trip there and the things to see along the way - Sukawati markets if you're inclined towards bulk shopping; Gianyar with its spinning and weaving mills; Klungkung, the old palace and Kerta Gosha, the old hall of justice; Kusamba, the beach loading ferry port, the old fishing village and th salt works; Goa Lawah, the bat cave if you like bats; Padang Bai, the port with a split personality - tropical paradise beach at one end and a typically grimy Eastern ferry port at the other (may they never meet) then Candi dasa which you can use as a base for a number of day trips.
