Drivers: go with the flow. All of our drivers we just organised out the front of BGH (not the tour desk, their prices were ridiculous!). Plenty of guys around, we never used the same one but always got a good one and happy with price we negotiated. I insisted on seatbelts to restrain my 2 boys - left loose they are like the monkeys in the monkey forest at Ubud.
Yes, taxi out front of exit doors to right. Was 40K I think to BGH. We needed 2 for 5 of us and luggage but that was fine. Depends how many cases/a stroller etc you may have.
I've never confirmed a flight with Garuda I must admit (not even on the way back as I usually forget) but better to be safe than sorry particularly with these busy times.
I like to get to the airport about that time. Can't remember if you're taking kids (think you are) but better to have plenty of time to chill and let them run around before hopping on the plane.
