growing being 1 of 8 kids our holidays spent playing in the safety of parkland behind our home. My first holiday being Bali in 1981 cannot remember the actual cost but remember rupiah being worth 700 and we thought that was amazing had the best time so much so worked our little butts off and returned the next year. Then the years of parenthood, 1 income so back to what I imagine our folks went through not a penny to spare. Then back to work and having the luxury of holidays every year and now twice yearly in our second home, not a day goes by that I am not grateful of how fortunate we are.
