When the children are at the upper secondary school level or at University, the teachers/lecturers assist/guide in the education process rather than teach as such.
A greater emphasis is placed on the person learning, researching & studying themselves rather than being spoon fed.
At primary school level is where teachers have a greater impact on teaching & educating.
I think you will find it's the individual, how they apply themselves etc rather than the whether it's a private or public school as to results obtained.
(You can also add parental attitude to education)
There are very ordinary teachers in both systems (as there are students)
And yes I have 3 children with high TER scores, have obtained / are obtaining University Degrees and attended a private high school.
However I'd have to disagree that their success is ONLY attributed to the fact that they attended a private school/s where the teachers educate.
