you have done your research, good stuff thats impressive & i do understand where your coming "who would want to go to the gold coast??" not me either mate its overpriced and over commercialised!!!
I didnt pay $85au this time roound but i have had it booked for some time now i booked and paid when the rate was good so i was lucky this time around...
but dont get me wrong id go back if the dollar was worth 4000rp because it would still be a better value for money holiday than i could have locally..
all i was trying to do was make a point that its better to enjoy your holiday and have a great time than worry about the fact the value of the rp has dipped.. if you have booked flights and accomm you cant back out now so why ruin your holiday worrying about the value of your $$ it still quite good when you look at the big picture...
