As someone who has been to Bali 10 times and stayed at Ubud, Seminyak, Kuta and Sanur, I can honestly say I prefer Sanur. You don't get hassled on the beach, as the hawkers have to have a shop to sell stuff from. Also we have made some very good friends with the girls and boys in the Sindu market. We will always stay at Sanur. You can always get a taxi and see the "bright lights" if you want. Mind you it is what you want from a holiday, we are an older couple who go to Bali for a lovely rest.
