I can tell you in a month! We are heading to Bali and staying 10 days at Bali Garden and 7 at Puri Raja. Have stayed at Puri before and really liked it - nice pools, brekky overlooking beach, rooms fine and staff lovely of course. Smaller hotel. Been regular visitors to Bali for 20 yrs and have not stayed down Kuta end for a while so giving BG a try. Found last trip that taxi's not happy taking you from shops near BG up to Legian in afternoon as traffic so slow thru there - so will hammer those shops in first week while in walking distance! Plenty of BG fans on forum so sure either will be great.Night club scene seems bigger up Legian end now - just depends what you like to do.
