hi my 14 yr old son flew to singapore last holidays - i was a bit nervous so rang qantas and registered him as an unaccompanied minor, they met us at checkin and stayed with him until boarding and handed him and paperwork to a hostess. i felt much better and so did he. they put him in first class half way through flight so he was wrapped.they gave him to ground crew on landing who stayed with him helped with luggage, customs etc and passed him to his friends only after checking id . maybe virgin will do the same? my 16 yr old flew home last year from bali and i was worried, we got him through airport amd he was fine-direct flight . i didnt let him take a backpack as i was scared he may put it down forgt about it or someone might put something in it. im a paranoid mum. dont over the internet post his flight details if anyone volunteers to help him out. he will be fine and i understand how you feel. have a great holiday.
