How can someone on this forum possibly tell people to not to go to a very popular and generally excellent restaurant because of one unfortunate experience. Perhaps you may have even got sick from brushing your teeth or eating an icecream, drinking water.. one of many things that people do all the time. I have personally been to Kori over 10 times and NEVER had a problems. Even if it was from there - it can happen anywhere in the world where for whatever reason you purchase a meal and something may be wrong with the original produce. It has happened to me here in Australia a few times.
Potential travellers please DO go to KORI. It is an excellent restaurant and yes a little expensive by Bali standards but still cheap by western standards. Do try the Satays, dips, the seafood hanging basket and all of their other excellent meals. I always make a visit there each occasion we visit Bali. Also DO go to UN's which is off Poppies Lane I at the Jalan Legian end!
I'm sorry you got sick - but it is so unfair to give a restaurant a stigma of poor quality for one bad experience.
