Stayed at both. Loved both lots of things the same,but advantages for the BGH is are being on the beach front.Lovely to walk along the beach going or coming from Kuta. Rooms are a good size.We are going over again in 2 weeks and staying at the BGH. As you say rooms are a little run down but started doing them up last Oct so maybe I will get a done up one this time.As the saying goes you get what you pay for and the value is great.Postion, staff, breakfast and meals near the pool can,t be faulted.Since I was there last year a resturant is now on the beach front and with all reports it sounds great.Looking forward to eat there and watch the beautitful view.
