Thanks for the info. Im sure it will help alot of 1st timers getting inked out! I have 2x Tattoos both done in bali the first is on my back had no problem had faded a bit & will need to be recoloured again not looking forward to my back coz that hurt but got my 2nd on my ankle. Had really bad experience got it done at a different place then the first (got 1st done at Mr. Dolphin and 2nd at Bulldog Tattoo) and will never go back 2 bulldog. He was fine but a day after getting it done my foot swelled up and got infected coz of the tattoo on my ankle. I had to take antihistamines & pain relief 4 the swelling & lucky enough for me this only happened a few hours before getting on the plane to come back 2 perth. I had to be wheelchaired into Indonesia airport, be put on the plane b4 everyone else coz i couldnt walk, then get off the plane last & go through customs privately. It sucked and was very uncomfortable. I dont know what when wrong but i out bepanthen on it and glad wrap for a few days & didnt swim in any water at all. I dont know if it was because of the needle that caused this or if it was coz of my tatt being on my ankle which is close to the dirt on the ground in bali & it got infected this way. The point of me telling you this is just be very careful who you go to in bali, i didnt know of this tattooist who did my 2nd tatt & only went there coz my ex was getting his done there. If i were to get a tatt in bali i would only go to somewhere that i know or is highly recommended like Mr. Dolphin or Buddy Marley. I know these 2 are great & i know at Mr. Dolphin Made & Wayan will look after you. So make sure you take good aftercare otherwise you could end up like i ended up. FYI too the infection on my ankle ate my tattoo away & its all patchy now and needs work done to it. I wont be getting my ankle tattooed in Bali again, think ill leave it up the the perth tattooists. I dont want to go through what i went through!!
