9th trip to Bali, for Hubby and I. Great start to our 4 day trip flying Qantas from Perth we were upgraded to business class, not sure why, (but very happy anyway), we were off to join our kids who had arrived the week before to stay on Lembongan Island at Villa Rumah Kami, they had a fabulous time there (they all said the villa was great) and can't wait to go back and see Komang who runs the villa.
We stayed at Kumala Pantai for the second time, my kids had stayed there on arrival in Bali for a few days in the new section. This time we were in the old section B Block. We were in the junior suite B03 had a bad musty smell, (not sure if it was from the air conditioner) but kids rooms in B block were good. Had some new pants that needed a replacement zip, $25 to fix in Perth, 15,000rp ($2) at Janoko Tailor in Poppies Lane, and they did a great job.
Went to Waterbom park, Mida can get the tickets $5US cheaper than gate price, which I think was $23US. Well worth it as there were 11 of us going. Had a trip to the new safari park, great to see the baby lions, but most of the other animals were sleeping. Mida also got us the tickets.
Had some great meals at Yutz, Ocean Blue, (I think is the name,) right next door to Kumala Pantai, on the beach, Drops, Wayan and friends (Padma St) Bought dvd's at Jimmy Disc in Padma Street as they have always been great and will tell you which DVD's are not good quality. After 4 days in Bali we were heading up to Singapore, pleased to say we had three great flights with Qantas and all were on time!!
