Havent stayed there yet but will spend a few days at Anda Amed soon. Comes highly recommended, often referred to as 5 star at 3 star prices. On here Alanna's JBR's expand and several great reviews on Tripadvisor.
In my understanding the more up-market category( though not of the super luxury variety if thats your thing)also includes Apa Kabar , Santai and Blue Moon Villas. My sister stayed at Bali Beachhouse (in Amed town itself)last year and raves-it is out of our price range but if money wasnt an issue that would be my choice. Have fun picking.
