We stayed in Max n suzannes apartments (3 diff ones) in Jan and could not fault them in their setup and cleanliness etc. But they dont have any views. they face the reception car park or otherside face the hotel next door but there is some lovely palm trees that we spent time sitting watching the squirrills racing up and down them. Their beds and pillows are wonderful, cleaning staff excellent and free water provided in huge big 20 litre bottles.
I couldnt fault the apartments.... my only complaint, I just wanted to be closer to a pool cause I can walk out the back door of my own home to jump in my pool 5 metres away so I feel I would like to have the same when I take a tropical holiday and not travel and pay money for less than I already have at home. If that makes me a snob then so be it !!! I love to explore and take in the "real" Bali experience but I also go on holiday to seek just a few of those little extra luxuries that I dont get at home.
