Hi, I didn't realise about these holidays in my ignorance! (I have heard of some of them but didn't realise they were then). I've previously read about a parade thru ?Tuban/Kuta with costumes etc that people found very interesting. Would this be Nyepi or am I off the mark?
We arrive on the night of the 23rd. Would most of the time we're away be public holidays/special days? We are staying at Patra and mostly want to just have a layback holiday around the pool but obviously would want to do a little shopping and maybe a trip to Safari (did it once already in June) or maybe the zoo. Would these places be open over this time.
