My son and I had Typhoid needles last year 10 days before going. My sister who we were going to stay with in Legian rang and asked if we had had Typhoid needles of late, and we hadn't for years. She suggested that we did as she had Typhoid at the time she rang me and so did a few other people in the Legian area. This year when we went my husband and other son got their needles. Better to be safe than sorry, especially when my sister started loosing her hair a few months later as a side effect from the Typhoid and she said she has never ever been sooooo sick.
