I was in shock when I read this (Agus who works behind the Dynasty)..As there are sooo many Agus's I was actually referring to another Agus who works around the same area that you have mentioned...I feel silly about it now, as I responded instantly not actually taking in everything, due to the shock of it all I guess. (Although that's not really important) and I understand how you must be feeling recieving the information directly.

I have a few friends named Agus (3 whom are good friends who I always have a chat to in Bali and they all work in Tuban!)

I understand how you must feel. That's great that Agus has a friend like you to assist him in a situation like this, I hope that all of his other close tourist friends respond to the situation as you have, and I'm sure anyone with a heart like you will!

I have seen other friends who have been involved in motorbike accidents, some come out of it luckier than others...He certainly is lucky to be alive!!

I hope that he has a stable recovery from this all.

In February this year a family member of mine had a very bad car accident on her way home from work (I'm quite sure it would have been on the news in Perth, though I'm from Sydney), she broke almost every bone in her body including her pelvis and was crushed under the dashboard of her car with her bone sticking out of her leg. The driver who caused the accident on a freeway was a drunken driver :( She is rehabilitating well after many bouts of surgery and is now mobilised enough to get around in an awkward way though...(A single mother with 3 kids and no workers compensation given!)

People worry about going to places? I think the biggest threat is coming into contact with unsafe drivers!!
