Ive just come back from 12 nights at the Jayakarta and there is no way in the world i would stay in the pool view rooms at this time of year. The Hotel is chockas and all you will hear during the day is kids screaming and fighting in the pool ...... and all you will hear at night is drunken people getting in the pool (mind you this was us on a few occasions!!!)
We staying in 400 block in room 401 (ground floor on the end next to 300 block) and this was perfect for us. Lovely view of the gardens and close enough to the pool without hearing the tantrums! Friends also stayed in 300 block which was equally as nice.
