I have stayed in both pool view rooms and deluxe. Deluxe rooms are a bit bigger - but the pool view rooms I have had have been fine too - I stayed in one overlooking the smaller pool and main restaurant - on first floor - so it was great to be able to sit out early in the morning while my sister was still sleeping (I have kids so am used to waking early but she is single and sleeps in every day). You can see out to the ocean and it is very nice. I think there is noise anywhere - it all depends on what type of people are in the rooms around you. I always take sleeping plugs and sleep with them as I am a light sleeper and can hear just about everything! Most people who swam late were out of pool by 10pm so it was never a problem in terms of noise from the actual pools...The hotel is great - any problem you have will be fixed instantly - I had a noisy airconditioner in my room and a very hard mattress - within 2 hours of mentioning something - they were installing a brand new airconditioner and bringing in a new softer mattress for me - can't complain with that! You will love the location - close to brilliant restaurants etc and nice to be able to step out onto the beach. One day a week too they have a market day where local sellers bring in a selection of goods and set up stalls around the pool area - so if you don't want to have to do heaps of shopping in the markets, you can do it all in one hit from the luxury of your pool chair! (A little bit more than street prices but not much in the big scheme of things!)
