Try the Bali Garden Hotel, although depending on when you want to go, it may be getting close to being booked out. It's right on the beach, next door to Discovery Plaza, across the road from the Waterbom Park and a few minutes walk to Kuta Square. Good sized, clean rooms, comfortable beds and great breakfast. 3 pools. Great place.
