we just got married on the beach at jimbaran bay. kelly from romantic bali weddings was our planner. easy going queensland girl who is just lovely. together with her balinese husband gus they make a great team and are hands on themselves. they took us to the embassy to do our paperwork themselves as opposed to other companies get their staff to do it, so that is just a small part of what i liked about them. we are off to continue our honeymoon tonight to nz but back in perth on the 13th oct so can give you more info. we had 18 guests. we wanted a beach wedding and jimbaran to us is very romantic as we got engaged there at sunset last year. we hired the small band that roves so they were at our table for the whole time, we also hired the drummers and fire eaters to perform. it was simple, elegant and perfect and everyone still raving about it. our guests did not know the venue location and were whisked out there by melasti cafe staff then we made an entrance together about 15mins later. our guests were blown away. we did not take a photo package as our guests are excellent photographers but i recommend getting the video recorded professionally as its well worth it. contact me if you would like and i can let you have some pics of the venue. there was also no venue fee at melasti either. we paid for the food and drink on the night at melasti but other parts we prepaid. all up have not added it up but would of been around the $3000 mark.
