We decided to go to Lembongan on our 3rd last day as we had never
been there and would see what surf@accom would be like for our next
trip.
Before leaving Groovy Granny has to make ginger tea for the boat
trip as she has been prone to sea sickeness.
On arriving at Sanur we book our tickets for the scoot boat,takes
about 40 mins,less time for sickness!We wait about 20 mins then
we all board the boat,2 balinese jump on with their boards and
theres a mix of families and crew on the boat.
We leave the shore and slowly putt out,after about 5 mins the
balinese jump overboard with boards to catch a wave.Then motor
cuts out,I try not to have the worried look on face,calm GG,a sip
of tea,it"ll be right.Well after 10 mins the motor starts yah!
Finally on our way.All's going well we"re getting further out
to sea closer to Le Bog Bog,then I look out towards the back of
boat and I see a thick blue rope dangling down from boat roof
and drifting very fast in the sea towards the boat motor!
Oh no whats going to happen?Some fast thinking by a passenger and
he grabs the rope and drags it in with all his might.He"s my
hero.Another passenger tries to get attention of the crew who
are oblivious to the event,just all happy at the front thinking
about their next nasi goreng.While poor GG gulps her ginger tea
dry!Groovy Pop gives me the look,are you alright?Yes I say
with clenched teeth.
At last I can see land,we"re nearly there.As we come closer
I see pontoons with water slides,boats,people surfing and
snorkling,getting closer whats that I see running down the hills
towards the shore? Its the le bog bog mob ready to ascend on
the tourists.We touch land.Yah! Nows its time to deal with the
mob.
