I have been to Panti Asuhan Dharma Jati orphanage twice now.I
got to know about this from Jimmy(driver outside Puri Raja).
It is a hindu one, some children do not have parents, others do
but are sent there from poorer areas up north,as they struggle
in these areas. There are heaps more, go through archives.

At present there are 79 children, when they are older they are
sent to the Denpasar Orphanage. They cook 20-25 kg rice every day
for their meals.
Ibu Moni is very grateful for what ever you can give. You write
in the guest book what you have donated.
What You Can Donate - rice, noodles, eggs, vegies, personal toiletries
pencils,exercise books,pens,hair clips,combs,sweets (buy at Makro,Carefour)

What I collect back in Oz - australian books, jigsaws, small toys,
bras(sizes 8 -12),anything with koalas,hankies(with aus pictures)
linen,lipsticks,aussie hats,clothing sizes 6-12.I saw boys with
soccer shirts so they would be a hit.

If you would like to use Jimmy contact details below. He grew
up near the orphanage. He"s not pushy, helps me at Makro and
is a very caring person. It costs me 400,000rp to go with him
you can go to other places also eg:Ubud morning/Orphanage about
2pm.Tell him Diane sent you.
