we were then in August/Sept and I have nothing against fireworks what so ever - brings back memories of Cracker night in my childhood, but at midnight and 3.00am in the morning outside the hotel was a bit too much on several nights, and yes security were on them quickly and took them away I believe. The mess on the beach the next day is something else as well, just more polution to add to Kuta Beach
