I would buy a few summer clothes her before you go e.g shorts, singlets. Everything else you can get there. You will have no problem in getting drinks for you both, anywhere you go have good beers and cocktails. I would also go below half and work my way up when i barter. Day tips i would do are bike tour, ATV/Buggies and white water rafting. Hope you have a wonderful first trip, i'm sure there will be many more after this one.
