There is a money exchange at the hotel reception not sure about the residence reception. You will get a better rate on the street and there are two totally honest m/changers nearby. Walk out the front gate of the hotel - turn right and walk past the T-intersection two shops down there is a little shop selling handbags and wallets and they have a board out front with the daily rate. The other one is in Rum Jungle Road which is the road at the T intersection and walk towards Jalan Legian on the left hand side just past the primary school is a large money changer and they give a very good rate as well.
