A sponsor, that sponsor will have to write a letter that includes an invitation to come to Bali/Indonesia and that they will be fully responsible for you during your stay.
This letter will have to include a 6,000rp stamp duty stamp the identity number of the sponsor and a copy of their I.D. card, their full name and address.
When you have received this you take it to your nearest Indonesian embassy/consolate along with your passport and a money order or bank cheque for $60.00 per person and a passport size photo.
When you get to Indonesia the visa will be valid for two months after which you must renew it every month for up to 6 month max. This letter is valid for 3 months.
There are also agents in Bali that can act on your behalf and can, I believe, organise it from their end.
