The police, I no longer spend a lot of time with teenage girls. So I therefore am not up to date about their likes or dislikes. However here are a few carefully compiled tips.
After undertaking the 12 kilometre ride from Legian you will probably need to stretch your legs. There is a wonderful paved promenade (promenade sounds much more exotic than walkway) that stretches along the Sanur beachfront.
If you start in the north you can begin by hand feeding the crocodiles that live in the disused fun park. However maybe teenage no longer like this sort of stuff.
So maybe the girls could just check out the fit, athletic, lean, tanned young men cavorting in the surf. (I often do this and find it quite exciting!)
You could also slip into The Cavern, the beer there is always cold. The girls may never have heard of the Beatles but I reckon that they would get a bit of a buzz out of it.
The Bonsai is also another great place for a cold beer and to watch the world go by. If the girls are not into beer they could have one of those pink drinks with the strawberry and umbrella in them. A couple of my mates drink them all the time, so it seems that they must be very tasty.
Bargaining with the beach sellers is another great way to fill in a few hours. This is great fun and helps you to learn Bahasa Indonesian. Whatever price they offer you, double it straight away. This tricks them for a while, however they seem to catch on very quickly. When you have reached a really high price simply walk away. However keep your ears open because this is when you learn some useful words of Indonesian.
