After driving 3hrs the night before to get to Perth,we arrived
at the airport 6.00am full of excitement the next morning for
the 7.30am flight.But whilst lugging boards etc to booking counter
were told flight would be delayed 5hrs.Oh well one bonus I didnt
have to pay for extra luggage.(for orphanage)
Two tired and grumpy old farts finally arrived at the Island of Smiles approx 4.00 pm.
We caught taxi to Bali Mandira,then checked in.Sorry to tell you
only single beds in room.So we requested to move.Which didnt
happen for 4 days.No worries we say,as just looking foward to tea
and a quiet night.As felt like we had been travelling 4 ever!!
The room was upstairs,very clean with a small balcony.
Used our free Bali Mandira vouchers for our tea.Go by taxi
to Matahari and get a few supplies,then its a taxi back to the hotel.
Then a blissful sleep!Sure!!Of course we had to have the party girls
directly across from us,coming in waking us up.(normally wouldnt worry us)but after the banging
of doors etc I dozed off to la la land.Our first day in land of smiles at an end.What Bali adventures await us?
