I have just come back and stayed in Pool View Room 287 (twin) as gecko says it is directly off to either the left or right of reception and noise factor can be an issue with late night swimmers, there are upstairs ones as well but I have not stayed in these. I shared with a friend and noise didn't bother her at all, they are very handy to everything but if you are a light sleeper maybe in the 300 series near the smaller pool. Another of our group had room 224(double) upstairs and 259(twin) behind reception about 25m from the pool and beach road they didn't have any noise issue at all. The rooms have not recently been refurbished and the pool view rooms are a bit smaller than the other ones as far as I could tell as they are the original older style rooms. Hope this helps.
