and wasworried after reading the reports - but i had a great time. You should do a search, there has been a fair bit of stuff written about the conflicting reviews of the LBH.
basically, i had a superior room, i asked for one not facing the wall, it was quite large, nice comfortable balcony etc. my parents had a beach bungalow and my sister had one of the other bungalows.... quality of the rooms basically the same, although the beach bungalows have new bathrooms. all in all i would have preferred my room that my sisters one, it was smaller than mine, although closer to the beach. as long as you arent expecting something like the padma, you will (hopefully) enjoy it, i had a great time and really didnt know what all the complaining was about, but thats just my opinion of my experience!
