I travelled for the first time about 4 years ago. Myself and children had Hep B, Hep A and typhoid. We also made sure our tetnus was up to date. Many people go without one but I look at it this way - Hep B is now given free by gov't in Australia, so is seen as essential. Hep A lasts about 20 years and Typhoid I think maybe 5 years (Don't quote me on this). A very good friend of mine had been traveling to Asia for about 15 years and then got Hep A. She was pretty crook and actually came close to losing her life. Am not sure what injections hubby would be needing again.
I always err on the side of caution. Since these are illnesses that are both avoidable and potentially fatal. If you plan on traveling regularly it can't hurt. On the other hand I know lots of people who don't bother.
No one can make this decision for you, but since you have asked I assume it has been on your mind.
