Buying a new Yamaha Mio for cash is around 12 Juta or 12 million rupee.
The locals normally use credit so it ends up costing around 19 million by the time it's paid off. Hence that is why any decent 3-4 year old Mios go for 8-9 million secondhand. Yes you can get bikes for 3-4 million but will spend more time fixing them than riding them. Or you can do what I do and buy a new bike ( or 2 or 3... ) and put them in a TRUSTED Bali persons name who can rent them for you. You get to use the bike the bike when you come and get some pocket money at the same time.
