As a frequenter of all of those clubs mentioned ( Bounty, Paddys, Mbargo, Espresso, Minibar ) there is good and bad elements to all of them. Personally I prefer Bounty because you have the option of staying downstairs, doing Karaoke and shooting pool or going upstairs to the mad house dance floor and Captains wheel/cage.
Ther of course are heaps more in Seminyak and some expensive ones along the Kuta beach front but if you can't find a club to suit your tastes on JL Legian then you are probably dead or gay...
One of my local friends has told me the new club diagonally across the road from Bounty called ER ( short for Engine Room ) is a very happening thing. Will check it when I am back late October .
BTW, I am 50 but have a local female friend who loves a party :)
