When we arrived we had a huge argument with the hotel duty manager as they had misplaced our bookings made three months earlier and confirmed the day before we left. Then they tried to put us into lower class accommodation that that we had booked and paid for. Then to top it all off when the above issues had been resolved, after much heated debate, we were told the rooms would not be available until the following day and we would have to stay in the basic rooms for the first night. A request for an upgrade was declined as they were "full" as was a refund for the difference in the accommodation costs. (There were a group of ten of us so the amount involved was not insignificant). We were however offerred a complimentary pizza meal for the inconvenience. I politely told the manager what he could do with his pizza meal. We are regular travellers to Bali and have stayed in most of the "upmarket" hotels as well as various villas and have never had so many problems as we encountered with this establishment. I therefore doubt that reporting the matter to the management would be of any value as, based on our experience, I quite honestly dont think the management could care less about hotel guests. This hotel had been recommended to us but never again will we consider going near the place.
