we were now back at our favourite hotel and all of our family and friends in Bali. First get together was at Venue @ the Moon it was my nieces 21st, what a terrific job Melody had organised canapes on arrival plenty to drink (except me still bit ill) and a buffet for main. I think in total about 30 people and can not think of a better place to celebrate. Next group outing on our agenda was Blue Point Villas for the day, there was 22 of us in total and I had booked prior via the internet then confirmed by phone, as did not want to disappoint anyone missing out on use of lounge for the day. All went smoothly our driver organised bigger transport and our friends from Noosa travelled up by bike, the view weather and service was fantastic it was quite funny when the lunches were brought to each of us reminded me of a scene out of the series Will and Grace where the waiters performed a ballet. Due to the size of our group it was not an easy task to get together as much as I would have liked but next occasion was my husbands birthday only 15 of us went to Slavyankia at Sanur, this is our friends restaurant and we booked without him knowing (did not want to take any advantage on price as he has previously taken to his restaurant as a gift) this restaurant is awesome authentic russian furniture, paintings the service is the best I have experienced in Bali and the price amazing 2,800,000 for 15 of us this was for entrees and mains, the desert of course birthday cake was from Bali Deli chocolate mousse cake and is absolutely delish, now we come to fathers day, it was terrific my little sister suggested La Luciolla and was going to book but unfortunately they do not take bookings for brekkie??not to worry we were all up early and ready and waiting at opening time, have never been to La Luciolla before the view awesome brekkie awesome (little pricey but worth it) all of us managed to get together but sat at tables as families, us with our sons, and brother with all his children, and little sister of course with her children and friends. We also managed to all get together again at Kuta Townhouses for the male folk to watch the nrl this was a spontaneous night and was enjoyed by all (except the st george followers). Another night was spent together at Venue @ the Moon, the food here is fantastic the meal especially gnochi with cream sauce the best I have ever eaten. These were the hilites spent as a entire group it is wonderful to be able to share our love of bali with our family and friends. We also went to Echo beach terrific view. Another day with a difference was spent at Pantai GerGer if you get a chance spend a couple of hours there before it gets built out as a massive resort is now in progress and it will lose its character, we hired lounges for only 15,000 and there is a warung there for beverages or food if required. We ate at many many restaurants and you know it is one of the biggest decisions you make during your holidays, where to go for Zanzibar (not that fussed) but the mezze plate was good, Neros a few times always good. Uncle norms, average, Ketumba always good, Warung 96 (our favourite cheapie) but this time a few of our group were sick after Pappas have to love the view, we ventured into Garlic Lane and I spotted the beach shack, well what can I say "Robbie" absolutely fantastic meal, terrific entertainment so much so that I actually stayed until closing, Ricky Ponting was so funny the bongo drummer and the vocalists had wonderful voices, they asked for requests and I made a request of a song that brings back memories of my lovely mum, well that was a mistake the singer did such a wonderful job and I ended up in tears, took me back. Again congratulations Robbie we went back a couple of times and all commented on the food and extremely reasonable prices after much relaxing eating swimming spending time with our wonderful friends the end of our holiday was like a roll of toilet paper the closer to the end the faster it went. I am so grateful to have spent so much time with our balinese friends that have opened their hearts to us the beautiful new additions since our last trip, our friend that works at Warung 96 has a healthy handsome son. Well back to the real world and putting away the pennies until we return
