for lunch last March and friends always want a look at rooms. Have lived in Lombok for over 2 years but currently on leave for medical reasons. Luv Lombok and Qunci is a favorite for weekend lunch.
As Freogirl mentioned it is also a gay friendly place but not overtly so, it is popular with Europeans who fly in direct from Singapore. It is very much a place for laying around the pool, reading and grazing, not suitable for kids and I think they would suggest another hotel if one has kids.
I am not surprised the air tickets have gone up in price.
