Air North - Bush telegraph whisper

Was advised by a relatively "informed' person today that Air North will pull out next year from the DRW-DPS routes in the light of JQ's move into the market. I did my best to extract more info but alas not to be.
The E170 Aircraft is fantastic and Air North have excellent service, meals great, top ex DPS flight schedule. It will be very sad to lose this top service.
I can only assume the QANTAS FF codeshare etc will then revert to JQ.
If I hear anything more will advise.
