when daughter was 14mths old and we even took microwave to heat food in room..(do a search in archives with my name) but like someone mentioned the carrefour supermarket is great as is mataharis, i purhased a stroller in matahari - dont bother lugging one, we only just got back 2 weeks ago and i spoke to a couple who had a bub and was carrying him (6mth) i said to them to wheres his pram and they said it was too big to use? i said go upstairs in centro and cuy one there...they were half price, i saw them 20min later with bub in a flash pilko red stroller with canopy etc..they paid $20 aus...they were chuffed...nappies you can buy and wipes, sipper cups and all that stuff is at carrefour. but i was worried with baby food so i took all my own, like tinned fruits and jellys and heinz pasta meals etc, but you can order pasta and veges with SAUCE on the side (in case spicy)...i always take medicine - i visit my doctor before we go and he gives me a prescript for amoxycillan which is in dry powder, if i need then i just add bottled water...we had to visit BIMC with daughter as she got bitten on fingers we thought by mossie but must have been spider? grew into massive blisters and had to be popped at BIMC then antibiotics and antibiotic cream...ONe big tip is spray your room every night before bed with mossie spray and we put towel at door to block gap. I put kids to bed in long sleeve pjs as they kick covers off!! if you want any further info just ask...cheers...
