hotels allocate a certain percentage to travel wholesalers but it doesn't mean the hotel is booked out, just their allocated rooms.
We have emailed direct & got rooms when agent has told me they are booked out.
maybe worth trying if you really want MBR or check asia rooms or bali discovery & book yourself.
