I have had an ePassport for a couple of years and found originally in Melbourne, there was a queue on the far left hand side, as you re-enter Australia and it took a short time to get through. When we arrived back into Melbourne a couple of weeks ago, I didnt notice the ePassport queue anywhere.
You enter your passport on to the scan and stand in front of an image reader which matches your face with the image stored on the chip.
Bali doesnt have any facility to scan the ePassports.
So really answer is, nope, no difference at all at this stage.
