returned yesterday after 14 nights at the melasti resort, first time there, i've been reading all posts for months about the place my wife daughter& me had a ball, stayed in a cottage suite and couldn't fault the place but no.2 son &wife got stuck in a room above the front bar ,the noise was terrible,I would have demanded a new room but they only stayed a week. we were in a a party of about 40 to attend the wedding of no.2 son & his bride at the chappel at the nicko resort at nusa dua, that was just beutifull,I nearlly had a tear im my eye during the ceremony, they really looked after us then we celebrated at the kendi kuning resaurant on the waterfront at nusa dua ,what a day to remember. I thought the melasti was a great place(have stayed at pelangi & santika)but i am a man of simple needs that fact bore out by a man can go on holidays for 15days & only need 1bag plus ,3pairs of shoes is a lifetime supply, our underwear only costs$10 and thats a pack of 3. but back to the melasti, someone nicked one of my wifes bra's off the dryer,if it was a balinese thats allwright because they will be providing shelter for a family to live under. done the usual restaurants recomended in BTF,one i must mention is tommy's in that strip of great places best iced coffee iv'e ever had only 10,000 rp,the salads there are the best.went to the safari park & got the picture of the century, when the bus came around the corner and stopped the tigers started mateing, the blokes started cheering and the women screemed, only in bali.i loved the hawkers i loved the beach ladies !everything .btf has been invaluble.met some wonderfull people. Now for the grumbles--inconsiderate aussie's who smoked at the melasti resaurant because they could(95% of guests were aussie,s ) and the VOA line i think its a game, when old people are fainting and children suffering theres something wrong, freinds 2ad.3children were approached & paid 200,000 rp to bypass this farce,if they stamped as quick as they collect the money there,d be no line.
